Ingredients:

    Tuna salad

  • 3 cups canned tuna in its own juice, drained
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 gherkins, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp. chopped dill
  • 1 tbsp tarragon leaves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp parsley leaves, chopped
  • 2 tbsp capers, drained
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 or 1/2 cup olive oil, to taste

    Sandwich

  • 2 bagel with sprinkles, cut in half on the side
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • Half a red onion, sliced ​​into thin half rings
  • 1 ripe tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1 seedless cucumber, sliced ​​into rounds
  • 4 leaves Boston lettuce

Preparation:

  1. First, prepare the tuna salad.Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Taste and add salt or pepper if needed.
  2. Toast the split bagels in the broiler until golden brown. Spread the bottom halves of the bagels with cream cheese while they're hot.
  3. Top with tuna salad, then layer onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce leaves. Top with the other bagel half and serve.
