Edamame soybeans in pods with roasted garlic

Ingredients:

  • 450 g frozen edamame soybeans in pods
  • 1/4 tsp dried sweet pepper flakes
  • 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • Lime juice

Preparation:

  1. Cook the beans in boiling salted water for 5 minutes, until softened, then drain in a colander. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan, add the pepper flakes and garlic, and cook, stirring, for 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.

    Add edamame beans and a little lime juice to the pan, season with salt to taste.
