Ingredients:
- 1 loaf of crusty French bread
- 4 tbsp (60 g) butter, softened
- 1 tbsp. apple butter
- 16 thin slices prosciutto, about 100g
- 2 pears or apples, thinly sliced
- 450 g Brie cheese, thinly sliced
- Olive oil to drizzle
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 230°C.
Slice the bread into 16 1/2-inch-thick slices. Butter each side of the slice and place them on a baking sheet. Spread 1 tablespoon of apple butter on each slice.
- Top with 1 slice of prosciutto and 3-4 slices of pear or apple. Cover with cheese slices, season with salt and pepper, and drizzle with olive oil. Bake until the cheese is melted, 8-10 minutes.
