Toasts in the oven

Ingredients:

  • Yesterday's bread, it seems focaccia or baguette
  • Olive oil
  • Coarse sea salt

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C. Prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. For croutonsCut the bread into thin slices, approximately 6 mm thick. Place them flat side down on a baking sheet. Lightly brush the slices with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the croutons for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  3. Remove the croutons from the oven and cool them to room temperature.
