Ingredients:
- 1 Italian loaf (length 35 cm)
- 230 g cooked Mortadella Bolognese sausage, sliced
- 120 g Capicola cured ham, sliced
- 120 g salami sausage, cut into slices
- 120 g of dry-cured prosciutto ham, sliced
- 120 g of sharp Provolone cheese, sliced
- 2.5 cups pickled jardiniere vegetables (such as cauliflower, onions, celery, zucchini, carrots), cut into pieces
- 1 cup pitted olives, sliced into rings (black and green)
- 1/2 cup chopped canned peppadew peppers
- 2 tbsp. l. olive oil
- 2 tbsp chopped romaine lettuce
Preparation:
- Cut the loaf in half lengthwise. Place mortadella, capicola, salami, prosciutto, and then provolone cheese on the bottom half.
- In a bowl, toss the salsa with olives, peppers, and olive oil. Scoop out the top half of the loaf to create a well. Place the salad in the center of the well and sprinkle with the salsa. Gently press the two halves of the sandwich together and cut in half.
