Low-calorie chocolate fondue

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 apple
  • 220 g strawberries, hulled
  • 2 teaspoons of orange juice
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cups of skim milk concentrate
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 55 g dark chocolate (60%-70% cocoa), finely chopped

Preparation:

  1. Peel and slice the banana and apple. Arrange the banana, apple, and strawberry slices in separate piles on a plate. Drizzle the bananas and apples with orange juice and gently toss to combine. Cover the fruit with plastic wrap and refrigerate while you prepare the fondue.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the cocoa powder and sugar. Gradually pour in the evaporated milk and whisk well to form a paste. Place the saucepan over low heat and simmer, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Remove from heat and add vanilla and chocolate, stirring until melted. The mixture will thicken as it cools. Pour the chocolate into a fondue pot and keep warm. Serve with sliced ​​fruit for dipping.
