Ingredients:
- 2 cups of flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp (30 g) butter
- 2 tbsp. confectionery fat (margarine)
- 3/4 cup drinking cream 10%
- Melted butter, for greasing the cakes
- Berries
- Ice cream or whipped cream
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 230°C.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Cut the butter and shortening into the flour mixture. Stir in the cream. Spoon the mixture onto a baking sheet. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool and serve with berries, ice cream, and/or whipped cream.
