Watermelon shots on a stick topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- Half (1.3 kg) of an early ripening large watermelon, peeled and cut into 3 cm wide cubes.
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup watermelon-flavored vodka
- 0.5 cup chopped mint leaves
- Special accessories: 16 (60 g) ice cream molds, 16 wooden sticks
Preparation:
- In a blender, combine the watermelon, sugar, and vodka. Blend until smooth. Add the mint and blend again. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, inserting wooden picks 2 inches (5 cm) into the mold. Freeze for at least 10 hours or overnight.
- To release the sorbet from the mold, dip it in hot water for 5-10 seconds. Serve immediately.
Note
To make non-alcoholic sorbet, replace the vodka with an equal amount of orange juice..
