Iced Tea Mojito

Ingredients:

  • 4-5 bags of black tea
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 3 handfuls of fresh mint
  • Juice of 3 limes
  • 1.5 cups light rum
  • Lime slices and mint leaves, for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Place tea bags in a saucepan, add sugar and 2 handfuls of mint, and pour in 3 cups of boiling water. Let the tea steep for 5 minutes, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Then strain the tea into a pitcher, add lime juice, rum, 1 cup of cold water, and a handful of mint. Stir vigorously, crushing the mint with a wooden spoon, and refrigerate.
  3. Serve iced tea with lime wedges and mint leaves.
