Mashed potatoes with cabbage topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 450 g potatoes, peeled and cut in half
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 4 green onions, cut into rings
- Cream 10% fat
- 2 tbsp (30 g) butter, plus more for frying
- A pinch of nutmeg
Preparation:
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid for stewing, and drain the rest.
- Meanwhile, fry the cabbage in butter for 2 minutes. Add the broth and simmer, covered, for 3 minutes.
Add potatoes, green onions, butter, cream, and nutmeg. Puree the vegetables until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
