Lamb patty hamburger topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
Cutlets:
- 450 g of ground beef
- 450 g of minced young lamb
- Salt and ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp. grape seed oil
- 4 slices feta cheese, 0.5 cm thick.
- 3 tbsp softened butter
- 4 brioche buns
- Lettuce and tomatoes for hamburgers
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup peeled and finely diced cucumber
- 2 tbsp chopped red onion
- 2 tbsp diced tomato (skin removed)
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 pinch of ground white pepper
Preparation:
- For cutlets: In a bowl, combine the beef and lamb. Season with salt and pepper, then remove from the bowl and form into 4 patties, each weighing 225g.
To cook the patties, heat the oil in a large skillet over high heat until it begins to smoke. Then reduce the heat to medium and add the patties.
Fry for 5 minutes on one side, then flip and fry the other side. When frying the second side, sprinkle the patties with feta cheese.
- For the sauce: While the cutlets are frying, combine the sour cream, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Taste and season with additional spices, if desired.
Heat a second skillet over medium heat. Butter the insides of the buns, then place them in the warm skillet and toast until crisp, 2-3 minutes.
Once the buns are ready, assemble the burgers by placing lettuce, tomato, and patty on the buns, pour sauce on top, and enjoy.
