White sangria with kiwi topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1 bottle (750 ml) of white wine
- 1 cup orange liqueur (French liqueur Cointreau, because it goes best with white sangria with kiwi)
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 4 kiwis, peeled and sliced into rounds (reserve a few rounds for garnish)
- 2 green apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1 cm cubes
- 1.5 cups green seedless grapes
- 1 bottle of sparkling water (1 l.)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup of water
- Ice cubes
Preparation:
- In a small saucepan, heat water, add sugar and stir until it dissolves to form sugar syrup.
- In a large pitcher, combine white wine, orange liqueur, lemon juice, kiwi, apples, and grapes. Add simple syrup, sparkling water, and ice. Stir and serve in sangria glasses, garnished with kiwi slices.
