Ingredients:
- 12 cups cooked popcorn
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
Preparation:
- Sugar with cinnamon: In a small bowl, combine 1/3 cup granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons cinnamon.
- In a large saucepan, combine 1/4 cup light corn syrup, 2 tablespoons butter, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 cup mini marshmallows, 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon each nutmeg and cayenne pepper, and 1 tablespoon water.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
- Remove from heat; using a rubber spatula, fold in 1/2 cup of popcorn and 1 cup of mini marshmallows. Grease your hands, then form into balls and roll in cinnamon sugar.
