Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of instant jasmine rice
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tbsp. l. olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/3 cup golden raisins
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup toasted sliced ​​almonds
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Preparation:

  1. Cook the rice according to package directions, adding a bouillon cube and a cinnamon stick. Remove the cinnamon stick after the rice is cooked.
  2. In a medium skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
  3. Add cumin, coriander, raisins, and onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is soft and golden, about 10 minutes. Add the cooked rice, almonds, and cilantro.
