Ingredients:
- 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
- Fresh fruit, for serving
Preparation:
- In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar and soy sauce.
- Stir to dissolve as much sugar as possible and cook over medium-high heat until the liquid level has reduced and the sugar has thickened the sauce to a syrup. Let cool to room temperature, then add lime juice. Pour the sauce over fresh fruit.
