Sangria with strawberries and kiwi

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups strawberries, some chopped, some left whole
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) of dry white wine, such as Chardonnay, plus more to taste
  • 1 cup fruit juice, such as pineapple or orange
  • 1 cup sparkling water + more to taste
  • 0.5 cups brandy
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, plus extra for serving
  • 4 kiwis, peeled and sliced ​​into rounds
  • 2 lime wedges

Preparation:

  1. Combine strawberries, wine, fruit juice, club soda, brandy, mint leaves, kiwi, and lime in a large pitcher, jar, or bowl and stir, stir, stir.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Taste before serving, and if it's too sweet, add a splash of soda or dry wine. If you let the sangria sit overnight, it will develop a beautiful pink hue!
  3. To serve, add some of the soaked fruit to a glass filled with crushed ice. Pour in the sangria and garnish with a mint leaf!
