Ingredients:
- 2 boxes (350 g each) frozen cinnamon French toast
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups of milk
- 2 tbsp. maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice mix
- 1/3 cup jam
- 1 banana, sliced into rounds
Preparation:
- Spray two 9x13-inch baking pans with cooking spray. Evenly distribute the French toast slices over the bottoms of the prepared pans; set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, 1 cup maple syrup, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth. Divide evenly among the French toast slices in each pan. Cover with plastic wrap and let sit for 1 hour, occasionally pressing the toast into the liquid.
- Preheat oven to 175°C. Remove the plastic wrap and place the baking sheets in the oven. Bake for about 1 hour or until golden brown.
- In a small saucepan, combine the remaining 1 cup maple syrup, jam, and sliced banana. Heat over medium-low heat. Pour the warm syrup over the French toast.
