Ingredients:

  • 6 cups beef broth
  • 2 sprigs of thyme

Preparation:

  1. Cover and sauté 4 thinly sliced ​​onions and 2 sprigs of thyme in butter for 20 minutes. Remove the lid and sauté, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour or until caramelized. Add 6 cups of beef broth and simmer for 10 minutes. Add cognac and season with salt and pepper to taste. Top with Gruyere toasts.
