Ingredients:
- 4 black masala tea bags, open and discard contents
- Half a vanilla bean, cut in half lengthwise and scrape out the seeds
- 10 tbsp. condensed milk with sugar (about 200 g)
- 1 can (350 g) of unsweetened condensed milk
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- Special equipment: 6 fruit ice cube trays with a capacity of 90 ml.
Preparation:
- Place the unsweetened condensed milk, tea, and vanilla in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Once the mixture begins to boil, remove from the heat, cover, and let steep for 30 minutes.
- Strain the mixture through a sieve into a large bowl and stir in the sweetened condensed milk and cream. Pour the mixture into molds and freeze for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- To remove the ice cream from the mold, briefly dip the mold in warm water.
