Ingredients:
- 8 toasted sandwich buns
- 1 green onion
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
Preparation:
- In a food processor or blender, combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1 finely chopped green onion, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt, and a pinch of freshly ground black pepper. Blend until smooth.
- Spread a little sauce on the bottom halves of 8 toasted buns. Top with a thick slice of baked or smoked ham, pickled vegetables (such as carrots, cucumbers, and bell peppers), watercress, more sauce, and top with the top halves of the buns.
