Garlic-Vinegar Glazed Pork Stir-Fry with Green Onions

Ingredients:

  • 0.5 cup soy sauce
  • 0.5 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar or molasses
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely grated
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 3 bell peppers (red, yellow and/or orange), thinly sliced
  • 4 natural boneless pork chops, 2 cm thick, sliced ​​into 0.5 cm thick slices.
  • 2 cups cooked white rice, for serving

Preparation:

  1. Combine soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch, garlic, and green onions in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the bell pepper, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and a pinch of freshly ground black pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until the pepper is crisp-tender, about 3 minutes.
  3. Add the pork and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Add the soy sauce mixture and cook until the pork is cooked through and glazed, 1 to 2 minutes. Serve with rice.
