Arnold Palmer vodka cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups of vodka
  • 8 bags of black tea
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (from 6-8 lemons), plus a few lemon slices for serving
  • Fresh mint for serving

Preparation:

  1. Place the tea bags in a heatproof pitcher and pour 5 cups of boiling water over them. Let steep for 10 minutes, then remove the tea bags. Pour half the tea into an ice cube tray and freeze for about 3 hours. Refrigerate the remaining tea.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar and 1 cup of water. Boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
  3. Add 1 cup of sugar syrup, lemon juice, 5 cups of cold water, and vodka to the cooled tea. Then add the iced tea cubes. Pour into glasses. Serve with lemon slices and mint leaves.
