Orzo pasta with cherry tomatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (400 g) of canned cherry tomatoes
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 0.5 tsp rosemary

Preparation:

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté 3 minced garlic cloves, 1/2 teaspoon each chopped rosemary, and coarse salt in 2 tablespoons olive oil for 1 minute. Add 1 cup orzo pasta; cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
  2. Add one can of cherry tomatoes (400 g) and 2 cups of chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
  3. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until the orzo is tender, 7 minutes. Stir in 2 tablespoons of grated Pecorino cheese.
