Marshmallow and Chocolate S'mores Pie topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 2 balls of store-bought pizza dough, 450g each
- 1/4 cup almond needles
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 package graham crackers, crushed (about 1 1/4 cups crumbs)
- 0.5 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
- 2 bars of dark chocolate, 100g each, broken into 0.5cm pieces.
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
Roll out the pizza dough into two rounds, 30-35 cm in diameter and 0.5 cm thick. Bake, preferably on a pizza stone or in a pizza pan, for 4-6 minutes, or until the crusts are golden brown. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- While the pizza crusts are baking, toast the almonds in a dry skillet over medium-high heat. Transfer the almonds to a plate to cool.
- Melt the butter in a skillet. Add crushed graham crackers, chili powder, cayenne pepper, and salt. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the crumbs are golden brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Top each pizza with half the marshmallows and half the chocolate chips. Return to the oven for 3-5 minutes, until the marshmallows are puffed and golden brown. Sprinkle each pizza with half the graham cracker mixture and half the toasted almonds. Let rest for 3-4 minutes, slice, and serve.
